Rare Wilkinson Patent Dining Table Mahogany seats 14/16
A Stunning Regency Period Extending Dining Table in Mahogany with Rosewood cross banding to the top, it has four original extension leaves and ten legs all with brass castors, this type of extension dining table was patented by the London cabinet making firm of Wilkinson it has unique extension hinges allowing the table to open with a concertina action, when fully closed it is no larger than a Tea or Side Table making this a very versatile table. The condition is excellent in every way the top has a lovely figure to the Mahogany and the Rosewood edge banding gives a brilliant contast. The leaves are held in place with brass clips and the table can be used with any conbination of leaves in place, these tables are very well constucted and are solid and firm when fully extended.
