A Super Jack in a Box Davenport Desk

A Superb Victorian Jack in a Box Davenport Desk in Burr Walnut, the jack in a box refers to the stationary box that  jumps up when the catch is operated it works with weights in the back of the desk (unseen), it also has a writing slide that pulls forward then lits up if required. it has four drawers to the right hand side and four faux drawers to the left. The quality of the burr Walnut veneers is incredible every single surface on the front back and top has the veneers book matched and quarted to get the sun burst effect. The condition is stunning as good as the day it was made.
