A Very good Jack in a Box Davenport Desk

A Lovely Burr Walnut Jack in a Box Davenport Desk, so called because the stationary cabinet on top pops up when the trigger is pulled ( in a small drawer) to close push it back down until the stop is located it then stays down until required. The desk has four drawers to the right hand side and a further four dummy drawers to the left. as can be seen on the photos the writing section slides out and if required the slope can be lifted to a set position or just left flat either side of the slope are compartments for pens etc it has an original ink well, it sits on four little Bun feet with concealed castors. The condition of this wonderfull piece of Antique furniture is Excellent
